By Car
Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 36 and turn left onto the A591 towards Windermere.
After approximately 5 miles you will come to a roundabout where you need to carry straight on, heading towards Windermere.
After 10 miles you will come to a mini-roundabout where you again need to carry straight on heading towards Ambleside.
After another 5 miles you will reach a set of traffic lights. Carry straight on and after approximately half a mile you will find Lyndale Guest House on the right hand side of the road, opposite Hayes Garden World.
Free overnight parking available 6pm to 8am at Lowfold pay & display car park 100 yards from Lyndale Guest House. Cost is £7.00 for a full 10 hour stay.
The following areas have free parking:-
· At the top of the car park where the back lane runs through, the double yellow lines stop for about 6 ~ 8 car parking spaces underneath the wall and is free 24/7
· Out of the front door and on the main road just around the corner there is a white parking mark on the left hand side, this section takes about 15 car parking spaces and is free 24/7
· Alternatively across the road from the car park on the main road the white parking bay is free from 6pm until 10am the following morning, this area is a no return within one hour so if before 6pm please display a disc and if staying beyond 10am please display a disc.
By Public Transport
If you are travelling by train, from Windermere Railway Station you can catch the '555' bus to Keswick - drop off point just past Hayes Garden World.
